The exhibition POINT OF... is dedicated to this question, detached from traditional patterns of representation, photographic conventions and westernised viewing habits. This idea is also reflected in the scenography.

In this concept, the photographs by seven international photographers stand for themselves. Visitors have to actively move, raise and lower their heads and turn around in order to engage with each photograph individually. Just the motif itself without bias - floating in space with no frames, no walls, no additional captions; these only follow at the end of the first round. Together with background information on each artist. and a flyer to take away, visitors are now encouraged to view the photographs a second time with context. To create the flying effect of the exhibits, we suspended over 150 steel cables in the structure of the hall.

POINT OF... was the main exhibition at the f2 photo festival 2023, which takes place every two years around Dortmund.
